The Moroccan Lounge

Moonily is a 90s influenced art/dream grunge trio from Ventura and Los Angeles, CA formed in 2016 as a solo project by frontwoman Marissa Trujillo. The early days of Moonily can be found on SoundCloud, phone recordings of looped guitar and bass with vocals recorded over; simple and imperfect but dark and dreamy. Today Moonily consists of Trujillo on guitar/vocals, Safaa Kaderi on bass and Alison Berry on drums. Made up of heavy drums and a driving bass, the intricate melodies of the guitar creates an almost fairy-like ambiance. Listening will make you fall in love with the Moon.
